Brother - Sister Cremation Tattoo
Written by Aimee Dupuis
Eric was my big brother—my biggest protector. From the moment I was born, he looked after me fiercely. As we grew older, he was always there whenever I needed him.
He was kind and loving toward my children, and they loved him so much. Eric was always his own person. He did what he wanted and never worried about what anyone else thought of him. He was a kind soul who could get along with anyone he met and always gave people the benefit of the doubt.
I was truly proud of the person he was becoming, which makes it even harder that he was taken from us so young. After experiencing an aneurysm a couple of years ago, Eric gained a different perspective on the way he had been living his life. I don’t know how I will move through life without you. I will forever miss your middle-of-the-night texts about absolutely nothing.
I learned about Kerri and cremation tattoos through a friend who had gone through the process, and I’m so grateful that I was able to honor my brother by carrying a part of him on my arm forever. Having him with me—to continue protecting me and keeping me from falling—is a gift I couldn’t be more proud of.
Kerri was incredibly sweet and patient throughout the entire process. My connection with Eric has always been strong, and now a part of him will be with me forever. Even though he can’t be here physically, I will carry his love, his memory, and his protection with me always. And I hope now you can "just have some fun".
