Husband - Wife Cremation Tattoo

My husband Sheldon. There are not enough words to describe the depth of the loss that I have since he died on June 4th. He has been my love, best friend and other half since I was 17 years old. There have been a handful of days that we were apart since then. Flash forward 31 years, two children and 3 grandchildren later, the void he has left will never be filled. Sheldon was an amazing father, grandfather and friend. He would have given the shirt off his back to help anyone and if you were lucky enough to be in his close circle there is nothing in the world he would not have done for you.

When he tragically left this world I asked our friend, who was the funeral director, to take prints of his hands. Those hands, I loved them so much. They were hard working, strong, protective, yet tender and loving at the same time. We used to joke that his large hands were the same size as a gorilla's. A hug from him made me feel like the most cherished and protected person in the world. He made every day better in every possible way.

When I found Kerri, I knew immediately that I wanted his ashes tattooed with the prints of his hands on my back so I will always have him hugging me for the rest of my life.

Although he will always be with me in my heart , it is the most comforting thought that physically he will always be a part of me now too.
I will love you forever Babe.
