Jeanette Joyce Johnston 1947 - 2024
Wife and Husband Cremation Tattoo
Written by Duane Johnston
My darling Jeanette and I were married on November 5, 1966. She was 19 and I was 18. I always told her that she robbed the cradle. She laughed when I would tell people that story. November 5, 2024 would have marked our 58th wedding anniversary. We knew each other and were in each other's lives for close to 60 years.
We were blessed with the arrival of 2 beautiful sons, Darren and Ryan. They have grown to be 2 lovable, honest, hard working, law abiding gentlemen. They were Jeanette's boys. She loved them so much. As well, she loved their two ladies, Shelley and Mary Ann and Mary Ann's son, Cameron.
Next to her family, Jeanette's passion in life was baking. Oh, what a baker she was. Her best day of the week was baking a cake, pie or cookies for her family. About a week before she passed, she was so happy to bake me my favourite apple pie.
Her favourite TV show was "The Price is Right". She faithfully watched it every day that it was on. She also loved lake life, buying lottery and scratch tickets and the occasional trip to a casino. She also loved watching her beloved Montreal Canadiens and her two favourite players, Brendan Gallagher and Carey Price.
I miss her so much and I know I will for the rest of my life. Of course, my hope is that we will meet again.
Til then, my sweetheart, know, I love you very much.
Love: Duane
