Sonic we adopted from the humane society when she was 6 months old. We had no idea what her breed was until we brought her home…..and no one told us how hard it was going to be but let me tell you she was a very loyal dog. We enrolled her in classes and I read ALOT of books about her breed and did a lot of research and we figured it out as she grew up with us. All she wanted was attention, she loved to snuggle and she thought she was a lap dog or a shoulder rest mind you she was around 70lbs. She had the personality of a “queen” what sonic wants sonic gets that was the motto in our household haha. She loved to go for walks and prance around like she was the best dog in the world. She also had a very nervous side to her if she didn’t know you she would bark like crazy and I mean it was a bark … we felt very safe around her. She watched our backs and told others she won’t take their crap. She loved to play with her tug rope and her family of hedgehogs (go figure…. Sonic the hedgehog) name George, Georgette and Georgie, she would carry those hedgehogs around with her wherever she went, whether it was laying in the freshly cut grass taking in the sun rays or going for a car ride to go on vacation to visit family in New Brunswick or calgary. She wasn’t very fond of the car but once she figured out “hey if I stay still and low to the ground” it’s not that bad lol and of course she needed her blue blanket that went everywhere she and we did. She was a great fibber when she didn’t want to eat something and was every dramatic, but she was ours and she fit perfectly into our family. We miss her like crazy and can’t wait till we see her again. We love you sonic Wiley Watson
